The wy10 Home Treatment Kits are prescribed and pre-used by dentists on patients.  Following instructions from dentists, the kits are easy to use yet contain the same organic activator as found in the wy10 chairside gel.  This patented activator helps to produce better bleaching results than other major brands of the same peroxide concentration.  It removes stains very quickly and hence requires shorter treatment sessions which can be easily fitted into everyday activities such as watching TV and reading books.  Shorter treatment time also encourages compliance and hence improves the result of treatment. We advocate “conscious bleaching” because we believe the patient should follow the dentist’s instructions and control the process consciously.  It follows that we do not recommend overnight bleaching using whatever gel because the patients can swallow the gel unknowingly during their sleep.  Longer overnight wear time is also a possible cause for increased sensitivity. 

The wy10 Home Whitening Kit comes in the same high quality dual barrel syringes as the Chairside gel.  It is available in two concentrations, 6% and 10% hydrogen peroxide.  The 6% is effective on normal stains, whereas the 10% is for more resistant stains.  Wear time is typically 15-30 minutes, twice a day.  Each kit contains enough gel for 20 days of home whitening, supplied in two 5ml opaque syringes, a detachable plunger, a mixing tip and a user instructions.  The detachable plunger and mixing tip make the kit easy to use and store.  The 10% concentration is not available to the UK market.
