It regulates and maintains the thermal energy in the bleaching gel on the teeth surfaces. This accurately controlled environment prevents teeth sensitivity during and after a treatment. Whilst a traditional bleaching lamp is bulky, difficult to set up and use, and uncomfortably for the patient, the iPower is completely the opposite.  Its patented design is compact and lightweight, quiet in operation, easy to use and very effective.  It is also environmental friendly and inexpensive.  The iPower is powered by a console the size of a mobile phone.  Therefore the complete system can be worn on a patient who can walk around while having teeth whitening treatment. 

The iPower has a Thermal Diffuser Head that hooks onto a retractor in the patient’s mouth.  Hence it moves with the patient’s head and maintains its correct position at all times.   The Thermal Head contains a tiny heating panel with a senor and delivers an accurate amount of thermal energy onto the bleaching gel painted on the patient’s teeth.  A thermal gradient thus created in the gel increases the diffusion rate of bleaching agent into the enamel structure.  Our tests show that by using the iPower, treatment time can be reduced by up to 50%.

The wy10 iPower set includes a Thermal Diffuser Head, a console with rechargeable battery, special cheek and tongue retractors designed to support the mouthpiece, a mains charger, an instructions booklet and a compact carrying case.
